Sentenced

Life is a gift, though meaningless, meaningless as it may be is still meaningful.

The moment we are born into this world, death await us. It's arm is always opened to embrace us, however we are terrified by this embrace. This embrace opens another door to a world unknown, mysterious, and unforeseeable.

Since life is a gift, are we cherishing this gift? or do we know it's a gift? For some do and some not, but one day they will or will not.

Guru Barr once said,"Knowing how you want to die is knowing how you want to live"

I still don't know how i want to die. I have an empire to rule, mouths to feed, lives to improve. How can i die now? It's not a choice of mine to choose the time, time chooses me.

But, Sadly, I see people being executed to death for unreasonable reasons. They deserved to die because their lives worth less than a pinch of salt. As i have said, life is a gift, it's value is immeasurable, immeasurable because gift cannot be bought. Gift is what the thought counts, hence thought cannot be bought. Thought originates through itself, thought is not to be punished.

Papak said we have to execute this messenger from Persia. I asked why. He said because he is our enemy. I replied, there are so far away and how can they be our enemy. He rebutted, they are our enemy because they spread rumors harming our reputation. I retorted, our reputation will not be harm if our conscience is clear. Angrily, he said, our reputation will be defame even though our intention is good so how can i let this defamation ruin the name of our name! I kept quiet...muttered, we will not be shameful of our name for doing the good intention, it's only the opposite that makes us wear the crown of shame. I was given a slap. I screamed, as long as an innocent person is to be kill for the wrong reason, shame will bestowed the name of those who determine, authorise, and execute the sentence!!!
